Corporate challengers conquer the first-ever Stair Miles Challenge

Last week marked the start of the first-ever Stair Miles Challenge, a unique event that brought together 75 participants from eight firms, competing to each climb 25,000 feet – the cruising altitude of a Lia’s Wings flight.
Participants from Lorien, Carbon60, SRG Talent, Impellam Group, Horwich Cohen Coghlan Solicitors, Fletchers Solicitors, Gleacher Shacklock LLP, Guidant Global, Comensura, and Hugh James joined us in the challenge, conquering hills, mastering Stairmasters, and scaling staircases in their local towns, offices, homes and even while on holiday – employees took part in six different countries!
Competition Highlights
Together, the firms climbed a combined altitude of 163,558 feet. This impressive feat is the equivalent to scaling the cruising altitude of six and a half Lia's Wings flights, all to support children who need an air ambulance transfer.

Their average height of 5,938 feet per person was notably the highest among all teams.
