About
Join Lia's Wings on our annual cycling challenge, to a destination very close to our hearts. Returning for a second year, we will take a brave team of cyclists on a three-day, 200-mile journey from the South of Lisbon to Praia de Falesia - finishing on our namesake Lia's favourite beach.
Riders of all abilities and experience levels are welcome to join the team for this fantastic event, where you will make memories and friendships to last a lifetime.

Event experience
Lia’s Wings is a national charity that provides hospital air transfers for children. We ensure that babies and critically ill children can access specialist treatment and care, wherever they are in the UK.

What you'll receive

A fully managed and supported cycling tour, from Troia (south of Lisbon) to Praia de Falesia, including support from professional outriders, medics and mechanics for the duration of the trip.

4 nights accommodation (Wednesday - Saturday), on a twin room, shared basis. Single rooms will be available for a supplementary cost

All food and drink (excluding alcoholic drinks) from dinner on Wednesday night, through to breakfast on Sunday morning, including plenty of local cuisine and culture, and a fantastic celebratory dinner on the final night.

Coach Transfer and Ferry crossing from Lisbon airport to the starting point on the Troia Peninsula.

Any extra cycling equipment needed (inner tubes, spare tyres etc.), although these can be purchased from the mechanics if/when required.
